Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

As healers, we hold the earth and all life sacred.

As an organization that focuses on healing, we recognized the importance of healing the trauma of the past with our actions in the present.

To begin building a right relationship with the land and the people who have tended and held it sacred from time immemorial, we acknowledge that we are doing our work as healers on the ancestral lands of Nacotchtank, Pamunkey, Piscataway, Powhatan, Saponi, Seneca, Tauxenent, Tutelo and others whose names we may not yet know and are committed to learning. We pay respects to their elders past and present and honor their truths.

This is a living statement and it will grow and evolve over time as we learn.
